Maintenance Assistant - Logistics
Position Summary...
The purpose of the Maintenance Assistant is to act as a liaison between departments, and to provide administrative support to the Maintenance department staff by assisting in research, copying, filing, communications requests, and other clerical functions as necessary.What you'll do...
1.Monitor and control maintenance-related expenses to ensure adherence to the approved budget
2.Utilize Ariba system to Process order requests and Issue Purchase Orders to vendors
3.Receive invoices and reconcile against issued purchase orders
4.Perform routine audits of spare parts inventory
5.Utilize CMMS program to maintain virtual spare parts inventory
6.Coordinate and schedule vendors for routine service requests and PM's
7.Coordinate annual inspections including, Electrical, HVAC, Fire and Life Systems, etc
8.Maintain and upkeep of site records, ie- asset inventory files, drawings, manuals, reports
