The Role

The Digital Sales Specialist is responsible for online product listing; product content maintenance, promotion planning, sales performance analysis, new sales projects execution aimed to improve online sales. This position is required to work closely and coordinator with cross-departments including the Digital, Merchandising, and Store Operation to archive department goals.

Major Responsibilities
  • Handle online product listing, product content maintenance, event planning and execution to secure solid product basic.
  • Liaise with internal departments and various stores on promotional campaigns, marketing materials, project timelines, follow-up actions, and other matters related to online product launches.
  • Product category review and analysis to ensure sales opportunities and profitability.
  • Generate sales reports and perform analysis on product selection, pricing, market surveys, and other related data as required.
  • Working with the Digital Operation team to prepare marketing and promotional materials, including translating messages into both English and Chinese.
  • Assist Digital Sales Manager to communicate and follow up with other internal departments, detailing related projects that are assigned.
  • Work with 3rd party image company to select new items which need to go online and monitor the process to ensure those new items are uploaded online on time
  • Share best practices and maintain knowledge of emerging trends through networks with internal and external stakeholders
  • Periodically support project for US
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Manager(s) and other Executive(s).
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, E-commerce, Marketing, or other related disciplines.
  • 3 years’ related experience in online sales, familiar with online product cycle AND/OR strong product knowledge in food industry ideally Perishable or Dairy and Frozen.
  • Strong passion and awareness of online business experience in the Canada Market are strongly preferred.
  • Master of Spreadsheet and Analyst skills is strongly preferred. Power BI skills will be an asset.
  • Able to demonstrate enthusiasm in delivering all the job responsibilities within the given timeline
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple assignments promptly and accurately.
  • Possess some technical knowledge of any food product categories, specifications, and pricing, including produce grading & standards, CFIA regulations, and mandatory standards is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Asian trendy fresh products (including Perishable, Dairy and Frozen) is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Able to communicate in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is highly desiable

Shift
