What does a Retail Security Guard in Vancouver do?

• Facilitate access to restricted areas for authorized persons

• Patrol the site on foot and by car

• Monitor closed circuit cameras

• Coordinate response to incidents

• Respond to telephone calls received by the security department

Qualifications to become a Retail Security Guard in Vancouver?

• A valid security guard license and first aid certificate

• A Valid Advanced Training Certificate

• Experience in dealing with Shoplifting, Vandalism, CCTV, incident report writing, following up with Law Enforcement in dealing with the incident

• Available to work flexible hours

• Have a clear criminal background

• Be eligible to work in Canada
