Position: Staff Lounge Cashier

Department: Hospitality

Reports to: Manager/Assistant Manager/Supervisor, Hospitality

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Staff Lounge Cashier provides a high level of food and beverage service to internal guests of the staff lounge. The successful applicant is one who thrives in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining first-in-class hospitality service. This is an hourly, part-time position. A typical shift includes:

  • Providing a warm and welcoming service to all internal guests of the Staff Lounge
  • Managing fast and accurate cash transactions during service hours of the Staff Lounge
  • Providing assistance to the Culinary team in the set up and tear down of food display in the Staff Lounge
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the Staff Lounge during service hours
  • Other duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Must be available weekdays from 10:30AM to 2:30PM
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 25lbs.
  • Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
  • Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high volume environment while maintaining a first-in-class hospitality and food and beverage experience
  • Comfortable working independently with minimum supervision
  • Experience in fast-paced food retail would be an asset
  • Experience with Micros or other POS systems would be an asset
  • Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2025
