We are currently looking for a dynamic manager for a director position for our Vancouver store.

 

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will lead and act as a mobilizer with a team of approximately 15 employees. You will ensure the good management of all store operations in terms of sales, customer service, inventory and financial control.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, direct and control all operations of the branch and ensure their sound management.
  • Develop business strategies to achieve branch sales and profitability objectives.
  • Train and direct employees in accordance with customer service norms and standards.
  • Communicate sales, promotions and events objectives to employees.
  • Develop and optimize the sales capabilities of employees to achieve sales objectives.
  • Implement corporate policies and procedures and positively manage the implementation of changes.
  • Apply in-store merchandising standards.
  • Through a constant presence on the sales floor, create a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement.
  • Hire, train and evaluate the performance of his team and prepare the succession.
  • Supervise and manage schedules and salary budgets.
  • Supervise the management of in-store inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
  • Be present at the community level.

 

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent, or relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in medium or large store management.
  • Marked skills in team coaching.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Mastery of sales techniques.
  • Oral bilingualism.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and priority identification skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software and computerized inventory management system and presence on social networks.
  • Varied weekday, weekend and evening schedules.
