What does a Security Guard in the Retail Sector do?

• Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor, treating every person with respect
• Report writing
• Provide excellent customer service and access control.
• Patrolling and CCTV monitoring
• Investigate and report incidents and hazards.
• Monitor and control special events crowd traffic and room access.
• Take action during emergencies as per Gardaworld and USB protocols.
• Desk Duties
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in the Retail Sector

• Valid Permanent Manitoba Security Guard license
• Fluent in English, both written and orally
• High school education or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent computer skills
