Our corporate merchandising is supported by a group of associates who plan the merchandising presentation for each program. This group is called the Planogram Team. Our product assortment for each program is provided to the Planogram Team who work with our Category Managers and Suppliers to design the best possible presentation of our products for our customers. The Planogram Team is led by our Planogram Team Lead.

This is a great opportunity to lead our corporate team of Planogram Specialists as we continue to create new planograms and update existing planograms. This position is based in our Planogram Test Centre in the Saint John East store. Planogram Specialists and Test Center Associates report to this position.

Career steps could be to move into a role in store planning, purchasing, project management, or analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Planogram Team processes and daily activities to create planograms.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers and Suppliers to identify best practice principles for merchandising our products.
  • Support roll-out of merchandising plan to various store types.
  • Support strategic & tactical planning to align with business objectives and competitive strategies.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve our processes and the quality of our merchandising.

Qualifications

  • Enjoy merchandising and have some store merchandising experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work with detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate with other teams within organization.
  • Enjoy leading an enthusiastic, process-driven team to meet monthly targets.
