**This is a temporary position until October 2025**
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Manager, Grocery Merchandising/Category Management team on day to day business activities including data entry, communications to Vendors when necessary, Store Surveys, Store Services, Inventory Managers, Marketing and Accounting, and assisting with advertising promotions which are on very strict deadlines. Attention to detail required.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to the Manager, Grocery Merchandising/Category Management team
- Ensure that input of financials (Market Bill Backs/Off Invoice/Announcements) and advertising are verified. This includes proofing, block id's and providing feedback on ad irregularities going to press/production
- Complete all assigned tasks that relate to the weekly execution of promotions
- Verification of week Store Survey
- Processing of Cost Revisions/DISC list extract
- Creation of Promotional Signs
- Allowances/Billings completed as provided
- Promotions generated (Blocking+ agreements) and Promotion Launch Check
- Ensure that all store inquiries are responded to and dealt with in a timely fashion
- Process validations for upcoming promotions
- Follow up with vendors, when necessary regarding ad images, as directed and provide status updates
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College Diploma or University studies in Business or related field required or relevant work experience
- 1 - 3 years of merchandising experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, Macros)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Intermediate level computer skills in office productivity tools
