SUMMARY:
We're looking for a motivated temporary Human Resources Support Clerk to assist our HR field Management team within the retail discount banner with various administrative tasks and HR initiatives. The role will act as a liason between HR and Store Operations, Health & Safety and Labour Relations.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to the Director of HR and HR Field Managers.
- Process and update weekly reports.
- Facilitate and communicate employee promotions within the bargaining unit to Stores and the Union weekly.
- Coordinate paperwork for Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager promotions.
- Arrange and conduct Management Orientation meetings.
- Track grievances, and harassment complaints in Excel.
- Prepare and release registered letters to employees.
- Schedule meetings and interviews with employees as directed by the HR Field Management Team.
- Look up basic employee data in SAP and verify employee schedules in Kronos.
- Assist with special projects and other tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a support or administrative role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task
