What you'll do
It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key responsibilities of the role:

  • Enters invoices and ensures that they are processed for payment accurately and in a timely manner while verifying cost and units and vendors are charged back accordingly for discrepancies
  • Identify and problem solve various issues and discrepancies related to invoices and purchase orders.
  • Responds to department and vendor requests in a timely manner.
  • Identify and provide suggestions for continuous process improvement.

What you'll need
To begin your career with us, you'll have:

  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, and/or other Business-related fields.
  • Intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Excel (Vlookup, basic formulas, filtering, pivot tables, data analysis) and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint); knowledge of Power Bi is considered an asset.
  • Basic analytical skills, attention to detail, and good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to gather necessary information and provide good customer service.
  • Interpersonal skills and time management skills including the ability to prioritize a must.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (dealing with vendors, business partner etc.).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment; capable of taking the initiative to partner with external vendors and internal business partners.
  • Retail experience is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $35,960 - $50,342 /year

This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
