What you’ll do

It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • This position is responsible for conducting operational analysis across the TJX Canada Store network to support productivity improvements, including cost savings and optimizing processes to support business objectives, collaborating closely with Stores to quantify continuous improvement initiatives, provide insights and coordinate monitoring and impact assessment of Store Operations projects
  • Plans and leads tests for new processes/programs and evaluates effectiveness and readiness before roll-out to the stores; partners with Store Operations teams to rollout communications and training
  • Serves as an internal consultant on assigned projects to assist with identifying improvement opportunities and providing recommendations that includes defining Voice of the Customer, overseeing data collection, analysis, testing to create new or enhanced procedures, policies, and processes
  • Collaborates with TJX Canada departments where there is impact to operational efficiencies, analyzing data based on metrics, providing quantitative and qualitative observations, and developing recommendations based on findings
  • Partners with Store Operations teams to identify key data elements to understand if a new process or tool provides quantitative benefit and/or cost reduction
  • Partners with the Field teams to gather feedback on pilot project rollouts and revises/updates processes and procedural documentation to ensure successful implementation

What you’ll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • Experienced working on Lean Six Sigma projects considered an asset
  • Minimum two (2) years retail operations or project management experience required
  • Strong organizational skills including change management, time management; ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, and multi-task with limited supervision and under time pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, communicate and interpret information accurately; able to develop and build relationships with internal and external partners / team members; including efficiently and effectively responding to inquires or resolving any conflicts or problems that might arise

Salary Range: $58,910 - $82,472* /year

*This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
