Position Summary...

As a Business Development Manager of Channel Partnerships, you will take part in owning the onboarding strategy and client-relationship for our Solution Providers. It will be your responsibility to identify Solution Providers with high quality sellers and innovative offerings that can benefit Walmart Marketplace Canada third party sellers. These Solution Providers play an integral part of seller success and growth.

In this role, you will manage end to end sales cycle from prospecting, pipeline management & progression, and closing of new business opportunities. You will foster and build relationships with our key partners, work cross functionally with required teams and manage projects. You will work to drive our B2B marketing initiatives to drive seller acquisition. You will successfully launch new sellers from our Solution Providers to support our monthly targets. You will work with cross functional partners in Operations, Technology and Support to support the channel partners as they onboard. You will be the POC for Canada on global API tech and facilitate global account relationships. Upon successful launch, you will develop and lead a post go-live support programs to ensure a smooth and complete transition to Walmart Marketplace Canada - including leading webinars and supporting launch marketing initiatives.

Top candidates for this position will have a solid background in business development, understand Marketplace ecommerce spaces, a deep expertise in relationship building and account management. The candidate will understand API integration and have technical knowledge from a business perspective, are creative, resilient and continuously seek new ways to improve business performance. The candidate will also be able to create and evaluate performance reports to drive incremental sales and acquisitions.

What you'll do...

  • New Solution Provider acquisition - onboard new providers to help scale the platform and capabilities for sellers.
  • Account manage and develop strategies for our top solution providers.
  • Develop strategy to drive seller acquisition
  • Work with various Marketplace and eCommerce stakeholders including Marketplace support, International team, BD seller acquisition and onboarding, Walmart Fulfillment Services and programs.
  • Manage Solution Provider contracts to ensure GMV growth and adoption of programs and capabilities to drive new assortment.
  • Build Solution Provider seller acquisition and API adoption incentive plans
  • Manage B2B Marketing initiatives with Solution Providers

Qualifications

  • >5 years of experience in eCommerce, Marketplace management, account management
  • Familiarity with APIs and Solution Providers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with a particular focus on Excel
