What you'll do

It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • Responsible for business analytics, project management in support of Vendor & Merchant programs such as Vendor Performance, Store Ready and Freight Terms and maintaining relationships with designated Merchants (i.e Apparel/Home) to provide support for all logistics inquiries providing consistency and influence leveraging opportunities to improve the flow of goods through supply chain. Supports identifying opportunities, providing solutions, and executing strategies.
  • Communicates and distributes reports to assigned business partners for timely action, highlighting opportunities, and recommending improvements; monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc
  • Identifies and resolves systematic or process related opportunities in a timely manner
  • Gathers and identifies relevant information and source data for use in analysis and presentations
  • Partners with Shared Services to ensure required reports are scoped and maintained along with providing updated criteria as required
  • Supports the business by increasing program participation such as Store Ready through analysis of information and providing process optimization and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Proactively drives improvement in vendor behavior by partnering with various teams across the function for cost mitigation activities and initiatives
  • Develops and leverages key business partnerships with Logistics, DC's, Buying, Planning, Merch Ops and GBO's to identify opportunities when looking ahead and understand where the business is going through reciprocal partnerships.
  • Supports the execution of strategies related to Duty Drawback opportunities, ensuring a pipeline of Vendors remains active within the TJX Drawback Program

What you'll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in Logistics, Distribution Service, Supply Chain or Operations experience and general buying and planning experience is an asset
  • Research and analytical skills, ability to identify problems, investigates issues, discrepancies and prepares responses for anticipated questions; understands the needs of the audience when presenting information
  • PowerPoint skills to create and update presentation and training packages
  • Strong research and analytical skills, ability to identify problems, investigates issues, discrepancies and prepares responses for anticipated questions
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle numerous tasks in a day, manage frequent change and work with minimal supervision
  • Data analytics applications experience with Excel, Power BI and other Microsoft tools in suite to complete reporting and analysis with the ability to identify business assumptions and results

Salary Range: $58,910 - $82,472 /year

This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
