We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Content Marketing Manager to lead our retail media initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the creation, development, and management of high-quality content across various platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing, editing, and leadership skills who can drive content initiatives that align with our business goals.

What you'll do...

  • Develop Insights-Driven Marketing Collateral: Utilize data analytics and market research to create compelling, insights driven marketing materials that empower the sales team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sales collateral is aligned with market trends and customer needs. Continuously update and optimize sales collateral based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Build in-market brand narrative: Craft and execute cohesive brand narrative that resonates with target audiences and differentiates the brand in the marketplace. Lead the development of marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the brand story and value proposition. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
  • ​Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and finance to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business goals and drive revenue growth.
  • ​Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of content marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
  • ​Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the brand's image and reputation through consistent and impactful marketing communications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced marketing certification is an asset.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in content marketing and/or sales enablement, ideally with experience in the Canadian market.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in brand strategy
  • Experience in digital media is highly preferred
  • Technical Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with analytics and digital marketing platforms including ComScore. Experience with project management and CRM tools is advantageous.
