What you'll do
Reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain Planning, the Supply Chain Business Analyst will work closely with the Supply Chain teams, Sport Chek and Marks business partners to build and implement improved end-to-end Supply Chain processes and visibility. This team will be focused on our continued investment and needed attention to further our One Supply Chain and One Customer Vision.
The primary focus will be to work with cross functional stakeholders including Logistics, Distribution, Transportation, IT and Merchandising to gather, interpret, and use complex data to analyze and document current state processes, identify and deliver process improvement initiatives across a number of workstreams including network and capacity planning, working with suppliers, inbound product flow, outbound product flow and improving efficiencies at retail.
This position will be involved in all phases of the development of business solutions - from analysis and design through to implementation.
Investigation and documentation of business processes
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting
Analyzing and documenting business requirements
Providing input and recommendations on business processes and/or technical specifications
Contributing to the identification, analysis, and recommendation of solutions (systems and process)
Working with business partners and stakeholders to construct, test and implement solutions
Prepare presentations on projects and activities
Share information with stakeholders and team members
What you bring
3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst capacity, preferably in Logistics, transportation, distribution and/or merchandising
Adept at developing tools and doing data analysis using Microsoft Access, Excel (SQL an asset), and Power BI
Experience with Microsoft Visio and Lucid
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Team player with a strong customer focus
Good interpersonal skills
Customer and delivery focused
Experience in project management methodologies
Degree in Business, Engineering or Logistics
Exceptional analytical, communication and collaboration skills
Be a motivated self-starter that takes initiative with little supervision
Experience with some of the CTC information technology tools
A desire to learn more about the Supply Chain and business processes across other banners
Supply chain experience is preferred
