CASHIER SUPERVISOR

Contract
$24.51/hr (0 - 40 hours/week)

The job involves:

  • Overseeing the daily Cage and Bank operations and enforcing accounting controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Verifying associate transactions and paperwork ensuring compliance with departmental procedures and all OLG and FINTRAC requirements
  • Using sound judgement and decision making ability to ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Responsible Gaming (RG) regulations.
  • Completing the filling and balancing of Redemption Kiosks and ATMs while managing overall cash flow
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the Cage & Coin team through continuous support, training, and performance feedback
  • Ensuring guests are provided with the highest level of service by responding to and resolving customer disputes in a professional manner
  • Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
  • Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
  • Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another
  • Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Cage & Coin
  • Demonstrated leadership, management and team building skills
  • Excellent communication and English comprehension skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Bally CAGE, CMP, NCBS and Kronos)
