Lead Retail Merchandiser

The Lead Retail Merchandiser ensures effective product merchandising, maintains store displays, and optimizes product placement using store merchandising software. Previous experience is preferred, but training will be provided. This role is crucial to the store's merchandising success, working closely with management and merchandising teams to meet company standards and maintain efficient inventory processes. Passion for sales, engaging with customers, and inventory management is an asset.

Job Duties:

Lead Retail Merchandiser (Weekend & Evenings)

Job Duties:

• Visual Merchandising Implementation:
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining product displays in accordance with planograms and visual merchandising guidelines (e.g. dusting shelves and keep area neat and clean)
  • Ensure product placement is visually appealing and maximizes customer engagement.
• Inventory & Stock Management:
  • Help manage stock levels by conducting regular inventory checks and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Assist with receiving and unloading new shipments, ensuring proper handling and placement on the sales floor.
• Planogram Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to merchandising planograms and store standards, reporting any issues or areas of improvement to leadership.
  • Help maintain records of planogram updates and changes, ensuring the store reflects the most current merchandising strategy.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the store team to ensure effective product presentation and efficient floor management.
  • Support the store leadership in implementing new merchandising strategies and promotional displays.

Skills & Abilities:

• Attention to Detail & Organization:
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure all displays are set to company standards and products are easily accessible for customers.
• Independence & Teamwork:
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative attitude with the team to ensure objectives are met.
• Effective Communication:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and concise reporting and interaction with team members and management.
• Basic Merchandising Knowledge:
  • Basic understanding of inventory management processes and product display techniques, with a willingness to learn and apply new strategies.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the workday.
• Comfortable bending, reaching, and performing tasks at various heights
