We're seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven Team Lead, Store Operations who excels in leadership and knows how to inspire a team. If you have a solid background in retail operations, leadership, and a genuine passion for natural wellness, we want you on our team!

As a Team Lead, you'll leverage your expertise to guide the Store Management Team in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and embodying the values of Healthy Planet Stores. You'll be at the heart of the action, ensuring our store operates efficiently while fostering a positive, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Operational Excellence: Oversee orders, inbound shipments, credit processes, administrative tasks, inter-store transfers, and support store execution initiatives including recalls, recovery processes, negative OH adjustments, Flyer prep process and sales floor support.
  • Drive Accuracy: Investigate receiving error logs, implement corrective actions, and ensure inventory flow and merchandise movement are executed flawlessly.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with Store Management to coach and provide constructive feedback to team members, helping them grow and succeed.
  • Customer Experience: Greet and assist customers, setting the example for exemplary service, and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner, leaving every customer with a positive experience.
  • Operational Efficiency: Lead and support the completion of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, product ticketing, markdowns, and inventory upkeep.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the store is visually appealing, well-stocked, and clean to create an inviting environment for both customers and staff.
  • Drive Team Goals: Contribute to achieving and surpassing team goals with energy, positivity, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Store Management to uphold the store's cultural values, implement high standards of service, and contribute to team success.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role in retail or customer service, with a proven track record in leadership and achieving operational success.
  • Customer Service Excellence: A demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service and foster customer relationships.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Advanced preferred); comfortable using email and retail systems.
  • Leadership: Experience motivating and developing retail teams to achieve their full potential and consistently exceed goals.
  • Operational Acumen: Strong ability to identify operational gaps, create plans to address them, and enforce best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management.
  • Flexibility: Open availability, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and during store openings and closings.
  • Retail Expertise: Deep knowledge of retail and wholesale principles, operations, and best practices, with a solid understanding of cost analysis and budgeting.
