What You'll Do:
The Account Director, Triangle Retail Media (TRM), will be responsible for new business development, prospecting, and achieving assigned revenue targets by managing both agency and direct client relationships. You will play a critical role in building and nurturing relationships with both agency partners and direct clients, driving revenue growth across the board.
Own a portfolio of agency/client leads and proactively prospect, follow up with, and close new relationships to build a robust pipeline of clients across agencies and direct clients. Active prospecting will be required.
Design pitches tailored to client needs, objectives, and pain points (including pricing structure, audience segments, creative suggestions) and effectively communicate TRM's value proposition to inspire clients to pursue new ad product offerings (e.g., on-site display, video, social, email).
Lead client growth strategy by leveraging the best of TRM advertising solutions to deliver on client business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, E-commerce, Data Analytics, Measurement, and Product teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth through the delivery of new processes and services.
Achieve assigned quarterly revenue targets across your assigned portfolio.
Adapt to ongoing ad product and technology developments and identify opportunities for growth as it relates to the needs of the retail media network industry.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
8+ years of experience in a digital media sales role working with media agencies and direct clients.
Experience in proactively managing a book of new business, sales pipeline, forecasting, and collaborating with client stakeholders to drive product adoption of TRM solutions.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs. Ability to track and report on client feedback and market conditions while utilizing data-driven insights to refine sales approaches and identify new opportunities.
Strong technical knowledge of digital marketing with an enthusiasm for learning how to produce meaningful insights, counsel, and plan for our partners' business objectives.
Experience developing compelling presentations and proposals that showcase our capabilities and value proposition. Customize proposals to align with the specific objectives of each client.
Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.
Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with experience in facilitation and influencing at executive leadership levels through building relationships.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Use this knowledge to provide strategic insights to both internal teams and external partners.
Ability to maneuver through a large company while working in a nimble and fast-paced environment—adaptable and able to thrive in various business situations.
