The Paid Media Manager will be responsible for driving growth in customer acquisition and sales through strategic paid media initiatives. This role manages the day-to-day budget oversight, performance reporting and Trade Marketing paid media campaigns. This role has a significant financial impact, directly influencing the return on ad spend and helping to develop media strategies that align to the brand goals. Additionally, the role enhances both customer and employee experience by fostering a strong understanding of media's impact across the organization.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • In conjunction with the Director of Paid Media, acts as the day-to-day point of contact for the media and affiliate agencies, leading daily communications across campaign types and programs (brand, performance and trade marketing)
  • Conducts and manages weekly performance reports with media agency to implement optimizations and assist with e-commerce and trade reporting needs
  • Category and vendor priority planning for media performance program
  • Recommend opportunities for growth, and manage new tactical implementations
  • Manage the day-to-day management of Trade Marketing paid media vendor campaigns, supporting the team with strategic and tactical recommendations, and ensuring accurate and timely execution of campaigns
  • Lead owner of the paid media department budget control report across all campaign types, ensuring budget plans and KPI's are accurately tracked
  • Owner of billing process and management
  • Management of project critical paths and blocking charts
  • Takes the opportunity to champion specific projects
  • Complies with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
  • Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures

The ideal candidate:

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of post-university work experience, including 3+ years supervisory or management experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to get things done
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player who is able to act as both a leader and an individual contributor as required
  • Confident and effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Is adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change
  • Highly service-oriented with exceptional organizational and follow up skills
  • Passionate about fashion and luxury retailing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
