MEDIA MANAGER, NORTH AMERICA

The North American Brand & Marketing team is a part of The Global Circle K Marketing Team and develops strategies, plans, communications, campaigns and projects influencing all of our North American business units in the US and Canada.

The NA Media Manager will be required to provide insights, reporting and actionable intelligence to help guide the decision-making process of campaigns and activities under their guidance across the Circle K US and CA markets – both nationally and locally across the 14 US business units and 3 Canadian business units.

In this role you lead the development of the relationship with our agency partners and support in the development of US and Canada national and BU level media strategies. It will be key to provide analytical insights to help guide the decision-making process.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Excited to embark on a journey with us? Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities in this role:

  • Support the briefing and delivery of US and CA national and BU media strategies for building store traffic and brand affinity, which includes all our relevant on and off-line channels.
  • With support of our Insights & analytics team, develop a consistent media campaign evaluation approach.
  • Be the center of excellence for media. Working with our agency partner - Inspire, train, and assist all relevant stakeholders on how to use/execute the media strategy and share learnings & insights. You will be responsible for the continued evolution of our omnichannel customer centric media strategy.
  • Supports US and CA Marketing (national and BU) teams to execute marketing and brand campaigns throughout the campaign life cycle – concept, execution, post campaign analysis.
  • Pro-actively engage internal and external stakeholders to assist in the planning, preparation and execution of marketing campaigns and related activities. This includes but is not limited to strategic media and creative agencies, the global brand team, art designers, copywriters, media buyers and printers.
  • Collaborate closely with global teams and local/regional support departments including Marketing & Merchandising teams, Loyalty/Digital/Personalisation teams, Category Management teams, Global Insights, Procurement, etc.
  • Oversight and delivery of accurate financial implementation.
  • Support the NA markets on developing their location strategy and provide support with the SEO agency relationship.
  • Provide support in development of a strategic partnership framework, working closely with stakeholders internally and externally in collecting data and feedback.
  • Support the NA markets on sourcing, managing, and executing brand and prize partnerships for gamification and other national marketing campaigns.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4-5 years advertising experience including social and digital platforms as well as traditional media channels.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Will be currently working in a media agency or managing a media agency relationship.
  • Has very strong project management in a complex environment, preferably in an international context
  • Budget and cost analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of market research practices and techniques as it relates to developing marketing strategies.
  • Will understand customer journeys and how to influence them across multiple online to offline journeys from owned channels – in-store, mobile applications, websites and social media to 3rd party platforms websites, apps emails.
  • Experience in the google marketing suite, an understating of and background in DCO, A/B testing, programmatic advertising.
  • Experience in social strategic planning across social platforms.
  • BI/similar Sales reporting knowledge: ability to both apply and interpret data practically for use in real-world scenarios.
  • Be able to adapt to rapidly changing environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Ideal candidate would be a self-starter and comfortable working cross functionally and as part of a team.
  • Maintain a positive team attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Is fluent in English, both oral and written
