What you'll do

We are looking for a result driven, customer-oriented Senior Financial Analyst. The primary focus is to provide decision support to Helly Hansen business leaders, provide insightful analysis on business performance, and to optimize the financial planning and forecasting processes.

Business support:

  • Establish strong relationships with business leaders and provide them with key performance indicators necessary to provide clarity to the operating results of each business unit
  • Provide business leaders and their teams with in-depth analysis in support of key management decision and investments, and track the profitability of past initiatives.
  • Support business clients in the analysis of business performance, highlighting trends, analyzing causes of unexpected results and identifying key areas of risk and opportunity for the business.

Financial planning:

  • Prepare and support the creation of multi-year financial outlooks, yearly budget and periodic forecasts in collaboration with business leaders, and the Corporate consolidation team.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial and operating results; forecasts, and variance analysis for Helly Hansen and the International business units.
  • Ensure the sharing of information and collaboration with the regional finance teams. Balancing the need for Business Unit driven reporting with the local needs of the finance organization to support the daily business.
  • Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial results

What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Post graduate designation or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis or other related fields
  • Budgeting, forecasting and planning experience, as well as experience with financial modeling
  • Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with PowerBI, ThoughtSpot an asset
  • Highly driven with an exceptionally strong attention to detail, time management and self-management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively, be highly-driven and self-motivated and be able to see the "big picture" in a complex business environment
