ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you ready to lead and inspire creative excellence at Sephora Canada? As the Senior Manager of Art Direction, you will ensure impactful and consistent branding, content, and social experiences across teams. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will champion innovative visual concepts for both digital and physical platforms, nurture talent, and drive progressive ideas. You will elevate retail opportunities through holistic thinking and cutting-edge technology, all while maintaining high standards and fostering team growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Partner closely with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, DotCA, Loyalty, Retail Production and Corporate Communications to develop and deliver creative for robust 360 client experience to arrive at great insights and build creative solutions
• Guide the team in conceptualizing and developing creative solutions that meet the brief's expectations
• Effectively communicate creative ideas and strategies to all project stakeholders
• Integrate with partner agencies and manage collaborations with external vendors
• Overseeing the execution process to ensure creative excellence
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality standards across all creative disciplines
• Strong understanding of how to develop work that is urgency and performance driven, and can work at 'the speed' of retail
• You are proactively directing and inspiring the team to achieve and success through mentorship and feedback
• Oversee photoshoots and art direction at high level

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• 8+ years of design/art direction experience in an agency environment, with a minimum of 4 years of people leadership experience

• An exceptional portfolio demonstrating innovative thinking and successful outcomes
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and emerging digital platforms and AI technologies
• Brand strategy execution experience is essential
• Conceptual thinker and collaborative leader who is passionate about creativity and technology, and possesses a drive for excellence
• You are resourceful and think creatively when executing concepts, not relying solely on traditional production methods to bring ideas to life
• You solve problems and overcome challenges with poise and confidence
• Great at expressing yourself clearly and creatively verbally, in writing, and presentations at all levels of the organization
• You have a keen eye for creative detail while leading and balancing multiple projects, prioritizing integrity and accuracy in your craft
• BA or BFA in Graphic Design or Communication Design preferred
