We are currently seeking a Stylist who will seek inspiration from our roots, can commit to achieving results the right way and loves to think big to join us on our journey.
The Stylist supports the Studio Lead, Product & Styling in executing on-brand styling across all studio productions. This role is fundamental to maintaining product integrity and enhancing the customer experience through consistent styling and accurate product representation.
The Stylist for Roots will be responsible for and evaluated on the following:
Styling
- Assist in the styling of all product departments
- Prepare and organize product racks for styling (divide on & off figure)
- Accountable to track monthly styling across product departments
- Sourcing seasonal footwear and accessories
- Review Seasonal Product & Design Direction & Key Looks
Studio Coordination
- Manage sample handling and ensure all items are accounted for, tagged, and returned promptly after shoots.
- Collaborate with Studio team members to maintain smooth, efficient studio processes
- Prep and Organize styling/studio needs before and after shoots
- Accountable for the organization of basic's, footwear and end of season goods.
Brand Standards
- Execute styling on-set to enhance product appeal and visual cohesion across assets aligned to brand standards
- Participate in product reviews and take feedback from the Studio Lead to refine styling techniques.
Continuous Learning
- Actively seek guidance from senior team members to expand styling skills and adapt to evolving brand standards.
- Stay up to date with trends and styling techniques, applying learnings to improve overall styling proficiency.
- Key participant in monthly style considerations meeting, assist Studio lead Product & Styling in capturing notes, feedback specific take aways related to the department
Top candidates for the Stylist role will have the following:
Fashion Background
- Possesses a solid foundation in fashion principles, with a deep understanding of design, trends, and styling techniques that drive effective visual storytelling.
- Demonstrates a keen eye for detail and an innate sense of style, rooted in a comprehensive background in fashion.
Knowledge of Retail Brand/Studio Space
- Understands the dynamics of retail brands and their visual representation in a studio setting, ensuring styling aligns with brand identity and values.
- Experienced in navigating and managing the needs of a studio environment, ensuring efficient workflows ad a seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams to execute brand-aligned visuals.
E-commerce Photography
- Skilled in styling for e-commerce photography, with a proven ability to enhance product features and create compelling images that drive online engagement.
Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant styling experience within retail, studio, or e-commerce environments, demonstrating growth in creative and technical expertise.
- Brings a solid track record in styling, with a portfolio that reflects both versatility and depth in fashion, retail, or e-commerce styling.
