Typically, insurance companies, or attorneys in case of litigation, assigns our experts to produce reports in a wide range of fields: Fire Investigation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Biomechanical, Structural and Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Collision Reconstruction, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering as well as Environmental Science.

The quest:

As a forensic expert, you'll be solving some of the most peculiar and perplexing cases that come our way. No mystery is too small or too big for you to handle:

  • Conduct investigations to determine the origin and cause of fires and explosions.
  • Visit scenes and take photographs, videos, samples, readings, and any other information you deem useful to help solve the mystery.
  • Interview witnesses and other parties involved in the investigation, all while showcasing your incredible interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Perform on-site studies, simulations, and analyses of fires and explosions.
  • Fully take advantage of our procedures and guidelines in the context of ISO-certified work.
  • Write reports and act as an expert witness in court.
  • Promote the company through your friendly and professional attitude during your interactions with customers and strengthen your relationships with them.
  • Collaborate with other investigators to solve multidisciplinary mysteries.
  • Earn monthly and annual bonuses when you go beyond your goals—your hard work pays off!

What's in your bag?

  • An engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and/or combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred.
  • Practical knowledge of building electrical installations.
  • Skill and interest in technical and manual work.
  • Excellent ability to synthesize and analyze information, as well as identify and solve problems.
  • Client relations management skills.
  • Great attention to efficiency and detail, excellent sense of organization and priorities.
  • Being able to work and be involved in several projects at the same time.
  • Curiosity, good judgment and initiative.
  • Be able to express yourself fluently with excellent communication skills in French and English, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously by using effective time management skills.
