Ecommerce Coordinator, Contract

What you'll do

The eCommerce Coordinator plays a key role in the functioning of the e-commerce platform of Sports Experts and Trio Hockey. They are responsible for finding, downloading and depositing both the product pictures and product information (features, benefits and attributes) in order to provide the customer with as much information about the product both visually and via the product description. They may be responsible for writing, correcting and translating the texts for the products depending on what is available. The coordinator is responsible for all banner products (clothing, equipment and shoes) in addition to flyer pictures.

• Perform research in collaboration with the various stakeholders (buyers, analysts, suppliers) to collect pictures/text of the products ordered for the e-commerce platform
• Closely follow the pictures/text they are looking for and ensure good follow up and delivery of both picture and text before delivery date
• Import web pictures/text into the content management system and ensure quality and consistency
• Prepare text to be reviewed by content specialist and fill in product attributes
• Carry out picture research through various partner sites in order to retrieve pictures in the source code of the site
• Ensure a good relationship with the various partners
• Ensure the accuracy of published product information and report anomalies to the appropriate stakeholders
• Write texts, in French and English, in accordance with established models for each type of product sold

What you bring

• College diploma

• 0-2 years in a similar position
• Must be bilingual (English and French) both orally and written
• Good knowledge of digital picture techniques
• Must have a good knowledge of Excel
• Demonstrate great autonomy
• Must have a Cartesian mind
• Motivated by the achievement of objectives
• Be proactive and solution oriented when a problem arises
• Be able to work on more than one project at a time and have a good sense of organization and priority management
• Interest in digital technology and databases
• Enjoy teamwork
• Attention to detail
