About the role

We are looking for an Account Sales Manager to join our TEAm!

By joining the wholesale sales team, you will contribute to the development of the department by working alongside business partners, developing a solid sales strategy, and helping to grow the division through an existing and future client network. Major grocery chains and large retailers across North America are your primary clients. The wholesale sales department collaborates interfunctionally with other departments to shine a spotlight on the DAVIDsTEA brand! The account sales manager must be an excellent project manager while being able to handle multiple accounts simultaneously. You will thrive in a constantly evolving work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client questions, requests, concerns, and needs;
  • Manage accounts by providing excellent customer service and establishing strong long-term partnerships;
  • Collaborate with internal services to ensure client satisfaction;
  • Manage client contract renewals and find growth opportunities within existing and future accounts;
  • Maintain a solid understanding of our products to effectively support existing and future accounts;
  • Independently manage a variety of projects related to the wholesale sales department, as well as the financial criteria related to decision-making;
  • Provide all reports for the department as well as recommendations on how to increase sales
  • Collect and analyze data to learn more about consumer behavior and the tea category;
  • Be responsible for sales forecasts, inventory validation, promotional follow-ups, product launches, and all other follow-ups for your accounts;
  • Develop and execute post-mortems to evaluate client performance.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in grocery account management with major chains or relevant accounts;
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field;
  • Recognized for providing excellent customer service;
  • Organized, versatile, multitasker, with the ability to make decisions and solve problems;
  • Forward-thinking and able to go above and beyond expectations to enhance customer satisfaction;
  • Good computer skills with strong knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Netsuite strongly preferred;
  • Easy-going, positive, and friendly team spirit;
  • Good communicator who can collaborate with multiple departments.
