About the role
We are looking for a Buying Coordinator to join our TEAm!
The Buying Coordinator to support the merchandising department in selecting, ordering, and managing inventory of products. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
• Assist the Buyers in sourcing and selecting products that meet the company’s standards for quality, pricing, and customer demand.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure stock availability.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain product information, negotiate prices, and schedule deliveries.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Provide administrative support to the merchandising department as needed.
• Support the preparation of detailed product specifications and samples.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability.
• Manage samples that need to be sent for photography and maintain the sample room
• Support artwork briefs and approvals
• Work on special projects as assigned

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Retail experience an asset.
• Product development background and familiarity with the product creation process and timelines.
• Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills considering constant communications with international clients.
• Strong team player with ability to multi-task.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Positive, “can do” attitude a must!
