As the digital merchandising coordinator, you will be a key team member in the growth of BRP's emerging eCommerce and marketplace channels through the effective merchandising of high-performing assortments. As a key member of the merchandising team, you will ensure the management of the product catalogue, the creation of promotions and optimization of product merchandising to maximize the sales potential of our online flagship store. You will report to the digital merchandising manager as you partner with product management, analytics, brands, digital customer experience and ecommerce teams to launch memorable experiences and help the organization grow its share of the digital market. You will also be responsible for executing the day-to-day tactical plan to merchandise and partner with the ecommerce team to evolve the digital experience and improve the customer journey through new and emerging tools and technologies (including the resolution of key friction points).

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Work closely with ecommerce, brands and product management teams to develop and optimize online content and schedules, ensuring products and related merchandising and digital assets are organized with the customer in mind while keeping revenue and conversion targets in focus.
  • In conjunction with the merchandising manager, manage the OTB, receipts, sales, margin, markdowns and weeks of stock in order to drive and develop business strategies.
  • Optimize merchandising strategy to maximize time on site, conversion, units per transaction and transaction value.
  • Measure the performance of ecommerce merchandising initiatives in order to identify problems and opportunities and thus propose solutions.
  • Plan and execute promotional activity for assigned categories/products or seasonal events.
  • Collaborate with CRM on product emails and the customer journey.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A bachelor's degree in business or other equivalent.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in an ecommerce, marketplace or digital merchandising role.
  • Experience in merchandising apparel, automotive parts and accessories would be an asset.
  • A strong understanding of omnichannel and customer experience, including B2B and B2C commercial aspects.
  • Demonstrated planning skills with experience managing an Open-to-Buy.
  • A demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding revenue, conversion and retention targets.
  • Proficiency in web analytics (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
  • Proficiency with digital platforms (including eCommerce, recommendation engines and content management systems).
  • Great leadership, a self-starter with the ability to influence and engage others in a multi-departmental environment.
