Job Summary

As an E-Commerce Developer, you will work closely with our digital marketing team and IT department to enhance and maintain our e-commerce platform. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience for our customers. This role includes developing, implementing, and optimizing website features and functionalities while supporting ongoing digital marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain our e-commerce platform, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal updates.
  • Optimize website content for SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and increase site traffic.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the e-commerce platform.
  • Integrate third-party tools and solutions to enhance site functionality and customer engagement.
  • Monitor website analytics to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the online product catalog, including descriptions, images, and any necessary updates.
  • Ensure the website is mobile-responsive and compatible across all devices and browsers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies to continuously improve the online shopping experience.

 

Requirements

 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in e-commerce development or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and A/B testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple deadlines.
  • Asset: Portfolio of websites or projects you have developed that demonstrate your skills and creativity.
