As Accounting Technician you will:
- Perform complex bank reconciliations;
- Monitor daily cash flow;
- Produce daily sales report;
- Code and process supplier invoices;
- Verify monthly statements of account;
- Issue supplier payments;
- Aid in the month end close process;
- Perform monthly account analysis;
- Post accounting entries;
- Support the manager;
- All other related tasks.
Required qualifications and skills for the position :
- Technical training in accounting (finance) DSC or others;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an equivalent position;
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft, particularly Excel;
- Knowledge of AS400 software an asset;
- Retail experience an asset;
- Bilingualism both oral and written (English and French)
- Analytical and autonomous;
- Sense of organization and prioritization;
- Able to perform with a high speed of execution ;
- Comfortable with new technologies;
- Excellent customer service (stores and head office).
